We are faced by three kinds of temporalities. Each of them has an immediacy associated with them. They all call our attention and demand action.
The conference aims to look at the entire supply chain. The fashion supply chain from pre production that includes farming and processing agricultural products that are used in the garment and textile industry.
The manufacturing and other allied aspects of the supply chain including the manufacturers of not just consumer products but also industrial products and machinery that is used in the fashion supply chain. This
will also include aspects such as design, forecasting and distribution mechanisms such as fashion weeks and exhibitions.The third aspect will be the post-production aspects of the fashion supply chain. This will
include aspects of retail, consumer behaviour and marketing. The concluding aspects of the supply chain will be the post-consumer space of recycling, mending and other sustainable practices.
